Senate Minority Leader, Senator Enyinnaya Harcourt Abaribe, has described Nigerian Christian Hospital, Nlagu in Obingwa Local Government Area of Abia State as a hospital with long history.
Senator Abaribe made this assertion while inspecting projects he attracted to the three senatorial districts in Abia State.
It will be recalled the Senator Abaribe attracted a minigrid to the hospital to complement the power situation in the hospital.
The Senator who said that they undertaken some other interventions for the hospital such as donation of drugs explained that the hospital has a long history and has been providing medical services to a huge number of partients.
According to him, with the installation of the minigrid, the hospital will no longer suffer power outages, especially during surgeries.
It will be recalled that Senator Abaribe has attracted solar powered grids to Seventh Day Adventist Hospital; General Hospital, Aba; Abia State University Teaching Hospital, Aba; Amaorji Health Centre in Isiala Ngwa Local Government Area; Uzuakoli General Hospital in Bende Local Government Area.
