Nigerian popular music artist Azeez Fashola, popularly known as Naira Marley, has been fined N200,000 for violating COVID-19 protocols in Abuja.
This is coming shortly after questions was raised about the decision of the government over the singers case.
On Friday, a mobile court sitting in Abuja had discharged Nairamarley’s case, where he was fined a sum of N50,000 for each count charges.
In a video obtained by Hiptv, the music artist pleaded guilty that he actually broke the law.

However mixed reactions from his fans emerged.
Some self-described ‘Marlians’ criticised the Federal Government for “chasing after shadows instead of the societal issues affecting the country,” others commended the judgment.
