The National Chairman of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP), Amb Agbo Major has graciously appointed a seasoned grassroots politician, Honourable Ahmad Muhammed Zagi as the Chairman, Kaduna State Chapter of the party.
This was contained in a letter sent to Honourable Zagi, which our correspondent came across a copy.
“It is my utmost pleasure on behalf of the National Chairman of the New Nigeria Peoples Party Amb Agbo Major and the entire Leadership of the Party present a Letter of appointment to Honourable Ahmad Muhammed Zagi as the New Chairman NNPP Kaduna State Chapter. His Appointment takes immediate Effect,” it stated.
Meanwhile, the deputy Deputy National Publicity Secretary of New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP), Rev Emmanuel Olorunmagba on Tuesday, officially presented the letter of appointment to Honourable Ahmad Muhammed Zagi, stating that the appointment takes immediate effect.
Zagi, who was the Kaduna State Chairman of the Green Party of Nigeria (GPN) during .his tenure, built the structures of the party from a scratch and established same at the grassroots throughout the 23 local government areas of the state.
In an interview with our correspondent shortly after receiving the letter, he promised to lead a state executive that will produce the next Governor of Kaduna State at the 2023 elections.
“We will hit the ground running and leave no stone unturned in repositioning the party in the state to attract the best minds that will give it Victory at the 2023 polls,” he assured.
He thanked the National Chairman of the party and the National Working Committee for the confidence reposed in him, assuring that they would be proud of achievements within the shortest possible time.
The Kaduna State Chairman warned other parties to watch out as they begin to roll out their massive grassroots mobilisation in a membership registration drive.
