Sampson Ogbonna, professionally known by his stage name, Sampzy – has joined the league of those promoting made in Aba products. In this song, titled; Voice Of Aba – Sampzy bared his mind contrary to what people think about Aba.
Aba, the commercial city of Abia State, is no doubt one of the most talked about commercial hub in Africa. The city, known for trade and commerce, has produced lots of millionaires and billionaires, but it barely gets the accolades she deserved.
Sampzy, a graduate of University of Abuja, said he did ‘Voice of Aba‘ to create awareness about products made in Aba. In a chat with AbaCityBlog, the artist said “people should start patronizing locally made products, according to him, “by doing so, it will boost the GDP of the country.
“We (Aba) compete with the world in the production of goods and services. Lots of skills and talent are being wasted down here, all in the name of Fake. We are fully awake and aware of who we are. Learn to respect and appreciate your own. It boost the GDP, creates employment and also satisfy the needs of the people from the grassroots level!
He however, warned people to stop the narrative that Aba produces fake products. “Instead of criticism, Aba products deserves patronage”.
