Miss Niger Delta Beauty Queens Launches Campaign Against Drug Abuse, Illicit Trafficking

Drug abuse is now an epidemic, as we have most recently seen the rise in drug addictions of young adults. While we are yet to win the battle against drug abuse, we have yet a lot to battle with trafficking.

Therefore, the Miss Niger Delta Queens along side other beauty queens and models across the Niger Delta are set to take the campaign to the streets with the theme: SAY NO TO DRUG ABUSE: drug kills the beauty in you, geared at creating awareness via a media programme and a walk against these menace.

Come Tuesday, 21st May, 2019 by 10.30am, there will be a sensitisation program on Rhythm 93.7 Port Harcourt playing host to the Miss Niger Delta Queens along side representatives of NDLEA, Ministry of Health, NMA and other stakeholders to kickstart the campaign against drug abuse and illicit trafficking and subsequently on Wednesday, 22nd May, 2019 at 9am, there will be a unity walk which will begin at Port Harcourt Polo Club, Tombia Street, GRA PH.

Everyone and anyone within the Niger Delta, with the zeal to put an end to these vices is welcomed to be part of this Unity Walk Campaign against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking.

Remember, you can seek help from any public medical institution/hospitals, approved rehabilitation centres, relevant ministries, parastatals, agencies or NGO’s to save your life.
