A gigantic billboard of the 2023 Labour Party presidential candidate, Peter Obi and his running mate, Yusuf Datti Baba-Ahmed was spotted in New York Times Square, USA and Nigerians are wondering who or which groups that may be behind the sponsorship of the advertisement.
“Don’t tell me Obi paid for that advert on a foreign land”, a social media commentator said while reacting to the video advert recorded by a Nigerian in USA and shared on Instagram by a popular Nollywood actor and filmmaker, Ugezu J Ugezu.
The video has garnered thousands of views and Nigerians are reacting to it.
Responding to the comment on the said video, another netizen said, “Nigerians there (in USA) will run it…”

It should be recalled that Peter Obi’s campaign has organically been run by mostly Nigerian Youths who are demanding for a new Nigeria. The Youths supporting Peter Obi and his running mate have nicknamed themselves as “Obidients” and “Obi-centric”.
The Obidients have also done so many charitable works, since Obi emerged as the Labour Party presidential candidate. The Obidients have erected billboards across the country.
