As the 2019 Abia governorship and State House of Assembly election has come and gone, some members were re-elected and some new members were elected.
While no Female member was elected or re-elected, we have listed the 27 members (in pictures) that will head the 27th House of Assembly. The members will be inaugurated in June (next month).
Twelve of the Lawmakers were Returned Elected, 12 of them were Newly Elected from the three major Political Parties in Abia State namely; PDP, APC and APGA.
Those Returning are; Hon Abraham Oba of ABA CENTRAL(APGA) Rt. Hon Chikwendu Kalu of ISIALA NGWA SOUTH of the PDP; Hon Solomon Akpulonu OF PDP OBINGWA EAST; Hon Thomas Nkoro PDP OBINGWA WEST; Hon. Mandela EGWURONU OBASI of PDP OHAFIA NORTH; Hon Ifeanyi Uchendu of OHAFIA SOUTH(PDP); Rt Hon. Bishop Kennedy Njoku of OSISIOMA NORTH; Hon.
