David Oluwafemi Adewunmi Abdulateef Fani-Kayode, a Nigerian politician, essayist, poet and lawyer has shared an experience on his twitter handle.
According to him, ‘A man has been jailed in Abuja for killing a cow that strayed on his land. Meanwhile Fulani herdsmen who kill others and take their land go free. Ten steps forward, twenty steps back. That is the story of Nigeria. Meanwhile, the whole world is moving forward.’
He continued in saying: ‘When others offend you, forgive them: there is nothing more pleasing to the Lord. Be gentle, patient and kind. Slay not the weak and vulnerable and crush not the poor.’
