The N-power programme is a social investment programme of the Buhari led administration which was launched in 2016 to accommodate 200,000 unemployed youths of Nigeria in different sectors of the economy including Education, Agriculture and Health. An additional 300,000 was added in 2017 making them 500,000 volunteers across the 36 states of Nigeria.
The two volunteers who are currently volunteering at the Agricultural development program(ADP), Aba south under N-Agro are both indigenes of Igbere in Bende LGA of Abia State and gave their names as Wisdom and Rose.
Asking of when the wedding is coming up, the groom to be said it is slated to hold on 19th of October, 2019 at Chapel of Answers International, #86 Jubilee Rd. By kent, Aba. Reception follows same day at St. Joseph Catholic Church Hall, #43 Market Rd. Aba, Abia State.
Speaking with the Zonal director of ADP Aba zone Mrs Awa Oluchi N (JP), she said she is aware of this development though plans are still underway to officially communicate various authorities including @Npower.ng, state focal person, Hon. Chinenye Nwogu, ministry of Agriculture etc. This is a good thing and we must support the establishment of this family she added as she thanked the Buhari led FG for giving the youths of this country this wonderful opportunity.
The volunteers thanked the FG for the life saving opportunity giving to them through N-power. They equally expressed their gratitude Gov. Okezie Ikpeazu and Hon. Chinenye Nwogu for loving and caring for Abia Npower volunteers like their own children. Indeed Abia Npower has always been first in everything we do.
They further pleaded with the FG and Abia State Government not to throw them back to the streets of unemployment and urged them to consider the daily cries of the volunteers and secure a permanent employment for them.
