A frontline house of representatives aspirant for Arochukwu/Ohafia federal constituency, Ibe Okwara Osonwa has tasked leaders and stakeholders of the All Progressives Congress in Abia State to stay united in a bid to realize its bid to win the 2023 general elections in the state.
Osonwa in a statement signed by him on Friday, noted that the only option available to the APC family on how to wrestle power from the People’s Democratic Party, PDP, was to put its house in order before the coming general elections.
He therefore urged the leadership of PDP to provide enabling playing ground for all contestants, eschew politics of bitterness and focus on all-round development ahead of the 2023 general elections.
He said: “Unity of purpose and understanding and working together for us to actually realize the all important goal of rescuing Abia State is very important.
“We must put the interest of the party ahead of our personal interest. Abians are looking at us as the alternative party to bring the much needed change.
“I am appealing to every groups or factions to unite as we fight against our common enemy together.”
He explained that Abia State politics would no longer be business as usual, noting that the prime responsibility of every responsible government is the protection of the lives and properties of the citizens.
