Speaker of Abia State House of Assembly, Rt Hon. Chinedum Enyinnaya Orji has described Late Lolo Nkechinyere Apugo as a disciplined woman who lived a life worthy of emulation.
Speaking today at Nkata Primary School In Umuahia North Local Government Area of Abia State where the interment service for the Late Lolo Nkechinyere Apugo held, Rt Hon. Chinedum Enyinnaya Orji said what came was death because her children did all they could to keep her alive.
“I want to respectfully say that we the members of the Abia State House of Assembly are here to commiserate with the Apugo’s starting from Hon. Martins Ikechukwu Apugo and our colleague, Hon. Chukwudi Apugo.
“If it was possible for money to keep her alive, I’m sure that her children were up to the task. But what came was death, an inevitable end for all.
Addressing the bereaved family, the Speaker urged them to “Bear the loss with every amount of equanimity in the hope that we all will live the kind of life Mama lived and meet with her in Paradise someday.
Ending his remarks, the Speaker thanked all those who came to commiserate with the Apugo family.
