Former Aviation Minister, Femi Fani-Kayode has backed the decision of the Lagos State Governor, Sanwo-Olu on ban of Okada and tricycle in Logos city.
FFK’s commendation falls contrary to the views of many Nigerians especially residents of Lagos who use Okada and Tricycle as means of their transportation everyday.
Since the ban, affected residents has taken to social media to air their views, condemning the decision of the Governor. While some said it’s inhuman decision.
But in a twist turn, Fani-Kayode, a political analyst, Politician and activist has appraised the governor for taken such decision. His points cited on the insecure in the Lagos City.
According to him, violent mercenaries has infiltrated the Lagos city with help of free operation of Okada and Napep.

“Lagos had been encircled, infiltrated and occupied by violent mercenaries from Niger and Chad all claiming to be Okada riders. If they rose up against the indigenous population in the name of jihad or ethnic cleansing it would have been hell. Sanwo-Olu did well by banning them.
