A Nigerian lady has taken to the micro-blog, Twitter to narrate how she called a wedding between her and her ex over his inability to take care of his parents.
The lady said the decision was made after her ex took her to visit his parents at Ejigbo, in Lagos State prior to their wedding, she noted that the ex lived very large at Lekki, while his parents are languishing at Ejigbo.
She said after visiting the ex’s parents and saw them in a pathetic condition, she called off their planned wedding.
According her, if the ex can treat his own parents in such a way, he will definitely treat her too, in the same way when he gets tired of her, eventually when they get married, hence, the need to call off the wedding.
Although, she said lots of people advised her not to quit, but her mum was solidly behind her and today, she’s married to another man, who treat his own parents very well.

She wrote;

“This man told me that he was working on some things and will do the needful. Some of my friends were like how is it your business but my mum supported me with her full chest. It was not easy because but God was there until l met my hubby today, see the way they care for their Mum, e dey sweet me die. My mum is late now and my mother-in-law is such a sweet soul. The children and grandchildren love her too much.
“Ladies, a man that does not care for his parents should not be entering your eyes. If he does not love his mum, chances are you will be treated The same way when he tires of you. And for those who call this a lie, you should check yourselves o. Are you saying Nigerian women can not call off a wedding if they notice some irredeemable character in the man?
