A Nigerian lawyer, Kaycee Madu, who was appointed as Canada’s new minister of justice and solicitor general for the province of Alberta has dropped a very deep message to Nigerians.
Kaycee Madu, according to BBC, is the first black man to occupy a ministerial post at that level in Canadian history.
His appointment as Canada’s Justice has drew a lot of commendation from different quarters especially, at a time of increasing sensitivity to racial prejudice.
Thanking Nigerians for their outpouring love through messages, tweets and mentions, Kaycee Madu said he is overwhelmed by the love showed on him by Nigerians both home and diaspora.
Speaking further, he said; “I look forward to the day when Nigeria and Africa become places where hard work and merit are rewarded. Chukwu Gozie! Flag of Nigeria Flag of Canada #ableg #cdnpoli
