Mr. Kalu Ijomah Ukeh, an All Progressives Congress (APC) gubernatorial aspirant in Abia State has described the fatal accident that occurred in the early hours of Thursday 3rd February in Ogbor-hill Aba as “terribly tragic disturbing news”.
Mr Ukeh, one of the aspirants on the APC platform in his condolence message, prayed to God to grant the families of the deceased and the people of Abia the fortitude to bear these losses.
The message read;
“This week I received the disturbing news coming from Ogborhill Aba of the fatal accident that occurred in the early hours of Thursday 3/02/2022, I feel deeply saddened by this terrible news.
“The death of these many bright souls due to the accident is terribly tragic! My deepest condolences to the family of the deceased and to Abians in general.
“I pray that the Almighty God should grant the families of the deceased and the people of Abia the fortitude to bear these losses; and also that God should grant the departed an everlasting rest and internal peace.
“It is sad to know the increasing rate of the losses of lives and properties in Abia state. These ugly trends can be curtailed or abetted if the government of the day had live up to his responsibilities.
“I call on the Abia state government to do the the needful to save the state from the dilapidated state of affairs as this is the only way to curtail these increasing losses of lives and properties.
