Abia state gubernatorial aspirant, Chief Kalu Idika Okwara has felicitated with the Abia State Deputy Governor, Rt. Hon. Ude Oko-Chukwu as he clocks 60.
He said Oko-Chukwu’s excellent relationship with Governor Okezie Ikpeazu was worthy of emulation.
Idika Okwara, in a congratulatory message signed by him on Sunday in Umuahia, described Oko-Chukwu as an accomplished administrator and politician.
He described him as a diligent person who had shown humility in the service of the people.
According to the governorship hopeful, the deputy governor’s contributions as an accomplished chartered accountant is particularly remarkable.
He said: “Rt. Hon. Oko-Chukwu has brought his vast knowledge, immense technical abilities and tremendous experience to bear on the various positions he has held in Abia state.
“He has served the state with dedication in several capacities and continued in the tradition of humility.”
He noted that Oko-Chukwu has provided strong support and partnership to ensure that the PDP government under the leadership of Governor Okezie Ikpeazu achieve the aspiration of a better Abia.
“This excellent team building and partnership is worthy of emulation by governors and their deputies across the country, particularly in states where such relationship has been characterized by constant distrust and acrimony.”
The oil and gas expert prayed to Almighty God to grant Oko-Chukwu more years and good health.
He said: “On this occasion of his 60th birthday, I pray that Almighty God grant him many more years in good health,” the statement said.
