Reports that President Muhammadu Buhari had cancelled all the pending appointments made by his late Chief Of Staff, Abba Kyari has been refuted by the Presidency.
The reports by online news platform which said authoritatively that The President said he is not aware and did not authorized those appointment thereby cancelled it.
Reacting over the reports, Bashir Ahmad, Media Aide to President Buhari said the reports is false and has no truth in it. He urged the public to disregard the reports while stating that Buhari was duly elected by Nigerians and has never ceded any individual the power to act on his behalf.
“The attention of the Presidency has been drawn to media reports alleging that PMB has cancelled a no. of memos & appointments signed off by his former Chief of Staff.
“There is not a grain of truth in these reports and Nigerians should please ignore the insinuations behind them”, Bashir wrote on twitter while sharing a press statement.
