Nigerian popular Instagram celebrities Hushpuppi and Woodberry has been handed over to the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) in USA.
Recall that the duo and their accoimplices was arrested in the United Arab Emirates on 10th June for allegedly defrauding over 1.9 million victims to the tune of $435.6 million (N168 billion).
However, In a statement on its social media page Thursday, June 2, 2020, Dubai Police confirmed it had extradited Hushpuppi and Woodberry to the US for the Federal Bureau of Investigations (FBI).
FBI’s Director, Christopher Wray, thanked the Dubai Police for its role in apprehending and extraditing the two suspected cyber criminals.
