Mohammed Sani Badaru, son of Governor Badaru Abubakar of Jigawa State have graduated from the Brunel University, London, United Kingdom.
This is coming a few days after the pictures of the graduation of Governor Nyesom Wike’s son flooded the internet.
Nigerians had expressed outrage over how the children of the rich were passing out from schools abroad while those schooling in the country have been affected by the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) strike.
Among those who weighed in on the issue was popular Nollywood actor, Yul Edochie.
In an Instagram post, Edochie said, “To our political office holders whose children school abroad. How do you feel visiting your children abroad, taking pictures in their schools and posting online while ASUU is on strike?
“Like seriously, how is it ok to you? You’re running a system that you don’t even believe in. Show me one Oyibo leader whose child is schooling in Nigeria. E no day touch una? And when you return Nigerian youths will still gather and sing praises for una.[sic]”
Meanwhile, siblings of Mohammed Sani Badaru, son of the Jigawa State governor, shared pictures of his graduation from Brunel University, London.
Wife of the governor and some family members attended the graduation.
