The United States Army Green Berets today joined the Nigerian Navy on two months training for special boat service.
The training which will last for two months will see the Nigerian Navy learn special boat service to counter insecurity and extremists terrorising Nigeria.
According to a statement by the U.S. 3rd Special Forces Group, shared by @USinNigeria official twitter handle, the training will help Nigerian Navy combat insecurity facing the country on land and at sea.

Nigeria has continued to experience insecurity, which is indeed a global challenge. But the country has said it will do everything possible to eliminate terrorism and other forms of insecurity.
Before now, President Buhari has asked the U.S. government to relocate its African Military base closer to the country to help fight rising Insecurity Nigeria.
