Insecurity: Northerners Calls Out President Buhari, Trends #NorthernLivesMatter

It has been recorded that the North are experiencing the high rate of killings, rape and massacre by Boko Haram, Bandits and Fulani Herdsmen. The recent reports of the bandits killings over hundreds of residents in the Northern States has led the Northerners to protest.

Recently, youths in President Buhari’s home town in Katsina protested by tearing down the President electoral billboards over what they tagged as a failed promise. According to reports, the youths said the president has failed them, despite voting massively for him to retain power for the second term.

A northern social media user, @__usyy, recalled how Mr. Buhari, while seeking for power called out the previous President to resign over insecurity;

“When Buhari was questing for power he called out the previous president to resign Coz of his poor handling of security situation of the country. Now that he’s also in power and even worser than him we are calling for him to do the needful or resign. #NorthernLivesMatter.

I don’t blame Buhari. I blame the northern people that used religion, tribe, juju and decisively connived with few from the south to bring Buhari to power.
