The Senate Chief Whip, Senator Orji Uzor Kalu, representing Abia North under All Progressive Congress, APC, have publicly endorsed the party’s presidential candidate, Bola Ahmed Tinubu for President come 2023.
Kalu made the declaration in a video shared on his verified Facebook page, noting that through Tinubu, APC will unite Nigerians.
The former Abia State governor who asked Nigerians to have trust in them, stressed that APC will do everything within their power to keep the country united.
Sharing the video of his public endorsement, Kalu revealed that he met with some security chiefs over the increasing insecurity in the country, especially in his constituency (Abia North), thank President Muhammadu Buhari for his continuous support.
He, however, noted that within a few weeks to come, those he described as criminal element living in the bush will be dealt with. According to him, only animals live in the bush.
“Thankful for the successful security meeting we held yesterday. We look forward to the combing of the bushes as promised, because only animals live in the bush,” Kalu said.
Declaring his support, Kalu said he is fully BATIFIED, using a slogan coined by Tinubu’s Supporters, which is an acronym of Tinubu’s name, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, BAT.
“Meanwhile, as we approach 2023 elections I am BATIFIED and my friends Dr Madukwe Ukaegbu and Hon Kayode Bamisile are all BATIFIED. I hope you are BATIFIED too,” Kalu wrote.
