Igbo residents in Germany, under the umbrella of “Overseas Igbo Federation” has filed criminal charges against Mr. Simon Ekpa, the leader of Auto Pilot faction of IPOB for causing mayhem and funding terrorist organization in South-East.
Simon Ekpa, residents of Lahti, Finland – who hails from Ebonyi, has been accused of inciting violence in South-East, especially in Anambra and Imo States.
Ekpa, who uses Social Media to broadcast his message has insisted that the Monday sit-at-home will continue in South-East, despite IPOB’s cancellation of the order following public outcry.
Ekpa’s incitement have led to the deaths of many, with several properties destroyed by Unknown Gunmen who are enforcing the sit-at-home order, which prompted the charges.
In the petition prepared by Dr. M. Ihedigbo, The General Secretary, Overseas Igbos Federation. An Organisation Of Ethnic Nigerian Igbos In Germany, it calls for prosecution of Simon Ekpa for his involvement in funding the group that currently terrorizing the South-East region.
