Mrs. Amaka Anku, Analyst and Leading Africa coverage for @EurasiaGroup – has shared parts of an email, a job seeker sent to her, requesting to be employed.
Although, the sender (job seeker) quoted in the email that he was sent by RJ (name hidden) but the employer refused to acknowledge the email.
In a twitter post, Mrs. Anku, said she can’t hire any job seeker who sent her such an email.
But going through the email, one can understand that it was a follow up mail.
However, using the email as a warning to Job Seekers, Mrs. Anku warns job seekers to be cautious of the kind of email they send to their employers, as some may be a hindering block for them.
Sharing the email screenshot, she said; “Under NO circumstances should you send this sort of email to a hiring manager. Even if you were recommended by the CEO, I WILL NOT hire you.
Beyond foolish.
