The Senator representing Abia South Federal Constituency in the National Assembly, Senator Enyinnaya Abaribe, has blamed the administration of President Muhammadu Buhari led APC government for his inability to attract a single federal project to his constituency.
Abaribe, the PDP candidate for Abia South Senatorial District in the forthcoming election, in an interview with Aba based Radio Station (Magic FM), was reacting to a question asked by one of his constituents, who asked him why “bad roads” are still ravaging Abia South, despite representing the zone for over 12 years in the senate.
Abaribe said; “attracting federal government projects is not that easy, you have to do all the lobbying and they has to pass a lot of stages.”
“I have sponsored many bills to attract projects in my constituency, but the Buhari APC government have severally gone against it because of my firm stand against some of their policies.”
Abaribe who used the medium to campaign for the PDP Presidential Campaign, Atiku Abubakar in the forthcoming election, claimed Atiku will unite the country and his constituents will experience federal government presence if Atiku becomes the president.
“That is why we are advising you all to vote for Atiku. He is friendly and we need a listening president, Abaribe said.
Speaking further, the self-acclaimed mouthpiece of Igbos, described Atiku and Buhari as both Pharaohs to Igbos who hate majorly Christians due to their religions.
He advised Igbos to vote Atiku for president as he’s the second Pharaoh in the Bible who had the Israelites at heart by making Joseph a prime minister in his government.
He buttresses his point over Atiku’s decision to adopt Peter Obi as his running mate. Abaribe likened Buhari to the second Pharaoh in the bible who drastically marginalised the Israelites and was extremely tough on Moses.
