A lady-Police officer known as Ola Aleu, has revealed how she escaped death during the bank robbery in Kogi State.
The incident occurred last week Thursday at First bank in the Isanlu area.
Reports has it that about twenty-five gunmen attacked the area where several people were injured and they killed eight police officers that were worked in the only station close to ‘the’ crime scene.
The robbers who divided themselves into three groups, a group stormed the bank while others parts stationed themselves in the nearby police station close to the bank and raining gun shot on the Officers on duty.
It is believed that they did it to prevent the Police Officers from mobilising to the robbery scene.
Eight out of the Nine officers on duty were killed, having only surviver.
The surviver named inspector “Ola Aleu” who claimed to have went to buy food when the robbers attacked happen to be the only officer left unharmed. This can only be grace in action, if she was present she meant have long dead by now.
According to Punch, The only police survivor, named Inspector Ola Aleu, was not present at the station because she went to buy food when the robbers attacked remaining officers on duty. She claimed to have quickly fled on sighting the robbers shotting sporadically
