The Abia State commissioner for Trade and Investment, Hon. Cosmos Ndukwe (ManofGod), has began the second phase distribution of stimulus package to his kinsmen, in a bid to cushion the effect of the lockdown in the over Coronavirus.
According to the commissioner, who hails from Item in Abia North, not less than hundred persons in Item received varieties of food items during the first phase.
“That category was identified as placing premium on food mostly”, ManofGod stated.
On today’s stimulus package delivery, Hon. Ndukwe said about 250 persons received cash gift of N5,200 and a crate of egg.
“Today, we gave N5,200 + 1 crate of egg to 250 persons across villages in Item. We understand we still need to do more.
“Beyond these palliatives to compliment what the government is doing, we are trusting God for a more permanent solution to this global pandemic”, ManofGod said.
