Senator Orji Kalu, the Chief Whip of the Senate has urged Igbos to vote the governorship candidates of the All Progressive Congress, APC, in Lagos, Kaduna, Borno in the forthcoming March 18 governorship election.
The former Abia State governor who made the plea in a statement he personally signed and shared on his verified social media page, called on Ndigbo to align with competence and performance by voting APC guber candidates.
Kalu said by voting APC, Igbos will have the opportunity to promote, move forward and positively influence the places where they live.
The statement read:
“As the day for the gubernatorial election draw closer, it is important our people align with competence and performance and support people oriented candidates across the country.
“The candidates of All Progressives Congress(APC) in Lagos, Kaduna, Borno and others deserve maximum support of the Igbos. I urge all our people in these states to cast all their votes for the candidates of the APC.
“When you vote for the APC, you have an opportunity to promote, move forward and positively influence the places where you reside.
