South East governors, today, met in Enugu State in furtherance of its meeting to look into the issues of insecurity caused by armed bandits and killer herdsmen in South-East.
The governors from the five eastern state meet, and reached agreement on the fate of Fulani herdsmen in Igbo land. This is even as they ordered joints air operation to flush out bandits from all forest in South-East and to make continuous one.
The governors who applauded the Enugu government on establishment of forest guards also restraint foot moment of herdsmen and their cattle from one state to another.
They, however, denied ever inviting the military operation, code named; Operation Python Dance. Read the full statement below:
