Abia State governor, Okezie Ikpeazu has nominated former deputy speaker of the Abia House of Assembly, Dr. Cosmos Ndukwe as the new commissioner for works.
Ndukwe will be replacing Barr. Bob Ogu, the erstwhile Abia state commissioner for works.
In a government special announcement, Ikpeazu had nominated Cosmos Ndukwe and will be forwarding his name to the Abia State House of Assembly for confirmation.
The statement read:
The Governor of Abia State Dr Okezie Victor Ikpeazu has nominated Dr. Cosmos Ndukwe as commissioner designate.
He will replace Barr. Bob Ogu as commissioner for works.
The name of the new commissioner will be forwarded to Abia State House of Assembly for screening and confirmation.
