As it’s obvious that the world in general will experience economic downturn after the coronavirus pandemic is over. The Abia State government has approved the constitution of Abia State Post Covid-19 Economic Advisory Committee.
Among the approved committee members is Dr. Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, a known Economics who have bagged different awards and landed numerous appointments around the globe. She was recently named by the World Health Organisation (WHO) as its Special Envoy for the newly inaugurated Access to COVID-19 Tools (ACT) Accelerator.

Before now, Mrs. Okonjo who hails from Abia State was Nigeria’s former finance minister. She will be among the committees that is expected to get Abia to its feet economically after the pandemic is over.
