The presidential Task Force has yesterday during their daily briefing spoken of Lifting Interstate travel ban.
The National Coordinator for the COVID’19 Presidential Task Force, Dr. Sani Aliyu, said the task force has started reviewing guidelines for lifting the ban on interstate travels.
According to him the task force has received guidelines from the Minister of Transportation, Gbemisola Saraki, on measures to put in place to mitigate the spread of COVID’19 while the ban is lifted and people are allowed to travel.
Aliyu stated that ones the task force is done reviewing the guidelines and considers it safe the roads will be opened for interstate movement.
He further stated that as of now, the interstate ban is still in play.
