Femi Fani-Kayode, a chieftain of the All Progressive Congress, APC, has mocked his former political party, the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.
The former minister of aviation said while the main opposition party are celebrating the defection of Ibrahim Shekarau, a former member of the APC into their party, the Rivers State governor, Nyesom Wike ‘flogged them mercilessly’ in Port Harcourt.
AbaCityBlog reports that Gov Wike, yesterday said he will soon release identities of politicians planning to continue looting the remaining Nigeria’s treasury.
Wike who made the revelation at the flag-off of internal roads at Rumuesara, Eneka town in Obio/Akpor Local Government Area of Rivers State, held on Monday, said very soon Nigerians will know the true identity of the politicians.
He said: “Some other people are busy, putting themselves together on how they will take over leadership in Nigeria to loot the remaining ones these other people have already kept.
“I’m privileged to know and at the appropriate time I’ll tell you who these people are. You need to know what is happening in Nigeria. Forget about all these people running around saying they want to rescue or save you. Just watch to see what is going to happen next.
“All of us should be calm concerning what is happening in PDP. In fact, nothing has happened yet. But by the grace of God, something will happen.” Wike added.
Taking to Twitter, Fani-Kayode said while PDP were celebrating the defection of Ibrahim Shekarau in Kano State, Governor Wike flogged them mercilessly in Port Harcourt.
While Mr. Wike didn’t mention any name or political party, Fani-Kayode added that the governor gave them a death blow when he said “they wanted to come back “to loot” & “eat the remaining one”.
“As PDP is celebrating the defection of Abubakar Shekau (Oops! Sorry, I meant Ibrahim Shekarau) into their party in Kano yesterday, Nyesome Wike flogged them mercilessly & gave them a death blow in PH by saying they wanted to come back “to loot” & “eat the remaining one”, the tweet reads.
“The mighty triumvirate of Wike, Ugwuanyi & Makinde, (representing SS, SE & SW) are the backbone of PDP. Without them PDP is NOTHING! With Wike’s damning speech BAT, our much-loved “City Boy” & Kashim Shettima, the “Golden Boy” of Nig. politics, are cruising home to victory.”
“They should start preparing their acceptance and swearing-in speeches today.”
