Mr zubairu Dalhatu Malamai, ex-boyfriend of the new wife of the comptroller general of the Nigerian custom service, Hameed Ali, has requested for a refund of the huge amount of money spent on her during their courtship.
Malamai in a letter to Zainab through his lawyer, I. I Wangida, described her as a ‘Cheat’ while he requested for the sum of N9, 081, 207.45 spent on her.
According to the young man, in the last three years that he dated her, he spent over N9m on her believing that they were going to get married and live as couples.
Malamai said that the money was spent in opening a business for Zainab and taking care of her and other things around her.
In the later, the lawyer was qouted saying that his client disclosed his displeasure over Zainab’s reaction few days before her new marriage by taking up fight with him, thereby insulting and calling him all sorts of names while she also claimed that he calculates all that she has collected from him both as loans, investments and trip tickets and therefore requested Zainab to refund him as she is no longer with him.
