Chairman Enyimba Football Club of Aba, Felix Anyansi Agwu, has expresses happiness with the teams good start in the 2018/19 NPFL Season.
Speaking newsmen after Enyimba’s 2-0 win against MFM in Aba, he said the victory was a sign of better days ahead.
”It was a good victory for us as a team, it’s always good to start the season on a good note. MFM Fc also played well, but we seem to be the better team on the day, and I must commend my coaches, players , Fans for the victory”, he said.
Anyasi who is also a key player in the Amaju Pinnick led NFF board also promised that Enyimba Fc will play good football this season.
“You see, Enyimba Fc this season, have a combination of the young and more experienced players, we decided to do these so as to have a good blend of both parties, you could see from our game vs MFM that the coach made use of some of our younger players (Dare Olatunji Signed from Osun United) was given a chance to start the game,
“and I think he gave a good account of himself alongside the other players, so it tells you the pedigree we have , and that’s why ENYIMBA Fc will always stand out amongst others, so i charge you all to always watch our games wherever we go”.
Enyimba won MFM Fc 2-0 with goals from defender NELSON OGBONAYA in the 13th minute and Striker Abdulrahman Bashir in the 54th minute.
