Bashir El-rufai, the son of the Kaduna State Governor, Nasir El-rufai, has unveiled wedding invitation card after days of putting the social media on suspence.
Recall that few days ago we published a post about Bashir’s pre-wedding photos with his wife to be, which he captioned “Nwakaego and I”.
The photo and its captions has drew lots negative comments on social media as many Nigerians, especially the Igbo speaking part, arguing that no sane Igbo lady will agree to marry from El-rufai’s family. They cited hatred and attack against Igbo being expressed and melted by the governor’s family.
“She is probably a Fulani lady. The fact that he called her his ‘Nwakaego’ does not make her an Igbo lady. He is not your inlaw or your ‘in geography’, user tweeted, while reacting to the photo.
“Any Igbo lady that marries the Elrufai family wants some marriage that will take their rights of religion and freedom away. Do not teach them the Ndi Igbo ways of life!, another user said. After Bashir shared their first pre-wedding photo.
