The Speaker of Abia State House of Assembly, Rt Hon Chinedum Enyinnaya Orji FNSE, has urged Muslims to use the occasion of Eid-el-Fitri to pray specially for Nigeria and imbibe the lessons of tolerance, peaceful coexistence and empathy for humanity learnt during the holy month of Ramadan.
The Abia Speaker stated this in his Eid-el-Fitri message to Muslims in Abia.
Rt Hon Chinedum Enyinnaya Orji also used the occasion to call on Religious leaders to use their privileged positions to engender the spirit of brotherhood, unity and love among people of all faiths.
While urging everyone to work for an all inclusive society where no one is discriminated against based on their religion, ethnicity or such other primordial considerations, Orji wished all Muslims a joyous and peaceful celebration.
