Don Lulu Foundation, a non-government organization have empowered about 58 beneficiaries with Point Of Sale (POS) machine for commercial purpose.
The Foundation, founded by Abia born philanthropist, Mr Mayor Lucky Igbokwe aka Don Lulu, has been in the business of transforming lives and empowering the youths and less privileges.
In its latest POS empowerment, Don Lulu Foundation released the names and phone numbers of 58 beneficiaries in the first batch of the programme.
In a press statement released on Thursday, the Foundation revealed that the POS devices were properly monitored and configured for commercial purposes.

AbaCityBlog reports that on December 2021, Don Lulu Foundation, through its Rural Youth and Women Development Programme (RYAWDP) empowered 600 Women and Youths in Abia State in its bid to alleviate poverty in the society.
The 600 beneficiaries, who received their certificates yesterday, in Umuahia – after undergone 6 months intensive training in Agro skills – were “mobilized and assisted to set up their own farms”.
Mr Igbokwe, in a statement posted on his verified social media page, said he is so happy to have put smiles on the faces of the indigent Abia citizens.
He noted that the empowerment was made possible through the six hundred million Naira (N600,000,000,00) mobilized by donors via the Don Lulu Foundation to assist and empower rural women and Youths in the state.
