Afro-beat star, David Adeleke popularly known by stage name, Davido has lamented the recent crash of Naira to dollar.
AbaCityBlog recall that the Naira, yesterday, exchanged at N710 to a dollar ($1) in the parallel market.
Reacting to the current exchange rate, Davido took to his Instagram page and posted a heartbroken emoji 💔 alongside the current exchange rate of N710 to $1.
In the second slide in his Insta story, Davido revealed that if converted the amount he spent for a glass of drink at the current Naira exchange rate, that means each glass of drink he gulps is almost N25,000.
Converted to dollars, means Davido spent $35 on a glass of drink, with the current exchange rate, gives you N24,850.
Sharing the amount he spends on a glass of drink, Davido said: “This drink converted to Naira is almost N25,000”.
It should be recalled that the National Assembly has summoned Mr. Godwin Emefile, the Governor of Central Bank of Nigeria following reports of incessant crashing of the Naira.
