COVID-19: Convert Traders Moni into Coronavirus Stimulus packages for Nigerians with Bvn – Ohanaeze tells Buhari

Ohanaeze Ndigbo Youth Council Worldwide(OYC) had called on President Muhammadu Buhari to reconsider the options of providing support through palliative care and Stimulus measures irrespective of the denial of the Presidency of non existent 30 thousand Naira package for Nigerians with BVN.

Reacting to this, OYC advocates that the Presidency should look inwardly the remote consequences of the lockdown in Many States, in curtailment of Coronavirus and its spreads, but definitely without stimulus Packages  for Nigerians, hunger might drive Nigerians not to comply with the preventive measures put in place for their safety.

According to OYC in a statement signed by its President General, Mazi Okechukwu Isiguzoro, Vice President Yemi Osinbajo can Convert the Traders Moni into Coronavirus Stimulus packages for Nigerians with BVN.

The press statement reads…

“OYC laud Southeast Governors Proactive measures put In place regards to checkmate the spread of Coronavirus especially now,there’s reported two fresh cases in Enugu State

“We call on Igbos irrespective of pains associated with the lockdown of States boundaries and ban on vehicular activities, we must abide by the rules and regulations to ensure Southeast remain safe

“We expect Enugu Government to do the needful and douse the tension associated  with the new cases, there’s no need for Igbos to return home from the West and North during this period

“We commend the efforts of various Southeast States taskforce on the need to shutdown all social gatherings especially burial and weddings and churches.

OYC through her diaspora chapters, had  provided 20million Stimulus packages for Igbos trapped in the North, including Abuja

“We are aware of their plights in the face of discriminatory policies of some Northern Governors against them, but OYC knows that such discrimination might prompt mass Movement from North to East, might jeopardize the preventive measures put in place to protect people in the South East, we wish to inform Igbos in 19 Northern States that Southeast Governors Forum didn’t abandoned them,

“as OYC announces 20million Stimulus  packages for Igbos trapped in the North, to assist Southeast Governors Forum to ensure that Igbos in the North are safe and secured, we commend the ingenuity of ABA artisans who had provided made in Aba Preventive materials

“OYC call on Igbo National Assembly members to assist their various constituencies with Stimulus packages, as many of them had failed their Constituencies in the past.
