Abia state Government has sealed Chapel of Answers International Located at Jubilee Road in Aba for violating the State Government’s guidelines on Covid-19.
The Enforcement Team of the Ministry of Environment Aba Zone, which enforced the sealing of the Church on Wednesday 17th June 2020, identified their offences to include non-adherence to the social distancing guidelines, having more than 50 Worshippers per stream, no face mask by members as well as running weekly activities.
Recall that Aba has recorded high number of infected persons in the state.
Recall also that the State Deputy Governor, Sir. Ude Oko Chukwu had last week warned organizations to desist from violating the State protocol on the curtailing of the Virus, vowing that the State Government would seal such organization and prosecute the owner.
