Civil Liberties Organisation Anambra State has call on Governor Charles Soludo to constitutes men and women of impeccable integrity to unravel the controversial circumstances surrounding the mysterious and sudden death of Late Mrs Chidiebere Iloka, wife of suspended Nnewi North Transition Committee Chairman Mr Mbazulike Iloka.
This was contained in a press statement issued to newsmen endorsed by Comrade Evangelist Vincent Ezekwueme Chairman, tagged ‘whatever that affects one directly, affects all indirectly.
It is of prime importance to note that this
will lay to rest speculation about the actual and real cost of the death of promising first lady of Nnewi North LG and caring mother of four at the prime of her age.
CLO received with devastating shock and disbelief over the death of a woman supposed to be championing interest, socioeconomic welfare and protections of rights of women to be a purported victim of battery and domestic violence leaves much to be desired.
It is an anathema and detestable for such first lady of Nnewi North LG to died in such suspicious and mysterious circumstances which is in tandem with the statement accredited to her sister and brother.
If gold rust what will happen to iron,if the citadel of justice is corrupt, what will happen to the body politics, hence the inexorable need for the Governor to order for indepth and transparent autopsy in order to authentic the actual cause of her devastating death.
Anambrarians and Nigerians are eagerly looking forward to hear what really led to untimely death of Late Mrs Chidiebere Iloka.
CLO equally appeal to the Governor Soludo to always subject Political Appointees to integrity, morality and transparency checks and tests, not merely as patronage to Party loyalists and supporters.
Anambra religious leaders should call for 7days fasting and praying to seek mercy and redemption of the state over recent despicable atrocities happing in the state.
Recall recently Nnewi married Osinachi Nwachukwu was alleged to have died of domestic battery.A married man was stabbed to death by amorous lesbian partner of his wife in Onitsha, just in less than one week,Mrs Chidiebere Iloka was alleged to have died of domestic violence.
Pertinently, uncommon problems, demand uncommon solution hence the ineluctable needs to seek for God’s intervention, grace and blessings for the state.
We equally pray for eternal repose of her gentle soul and for fortitude and grace for her children, siblings and loved ones to bear the irreplaceable and irreparable lost.
The soul of Mrs Chidiebere Iloka deserved justice to assuage the pains, agony, afflictions, and sufferings of those she left behind CLO posited.
