Chocolate City founder reacts to M.I Abaga's decision of leaving the Record label

Chocolate city founder, Audu Maikori, has reacted to Rapper, Jude Abaga popularly known as M.I Abaga’s decision to exit from the record label.

It should be recalled that M.I, who has announced his exit from the record label rose from being an ordinary member of the label to the chairman.

Chocolate city is no doubt one of the most popularly music record label in Nigeria which has breed list of known artistes mainly Rappers.

Such as;
M.I; Brymo, Ice Prince, Jessy Jagz, Brymo etc.

M.I announced his exit earlier today while releasing a new project called; #JudahTheEP

Reacting to M.I decision, Maikori, the founder of Chocolate city, thanked M.I for all he has done for the growth of the record label.

Taken to his official twitter handle, Maikori wrote…

“Congratulations to @MI_Abaga my brother, friend and business partner on the launch of #Incrediblemusic. I am very very proud of you.. to see your growth from musician to a superstar, from finding talent to running record labels, from being a leader to an icon.

“From sitting on a board to running the whole board &from speaking about yourself to speaking up for others. One thing that’s outstanding for me is that I could always rely on you to keep your word.. we call that integrity..it’s a rare substance that is very scarce #miabaga

Also congratulating M.I – is Ice Prince, his former mate at the Chocolate City record label.
