The Speaker of Abia State House of Assembly, Rt Hon Engr Chinedum Enyinnaya Orji, yesterday was at Ihie Ndume Ibeku in Umuahia North LGA to commiserate with the family of Late Mrs Theodora Chisaraokwu Nwadinobi, mother of Mr Eric Nwadinobi.
In his condolence message to the family, the Speaker said the loss of a mother is usually a painful experience but that death is an inevitable end of every mortal which is beyond the dictate and control of any man. He described the death of Mrs Nwadinobi as a colossal loss which has left a huge vacuum that will be very difficult to fill.
The Speaker prayed God to give the bereaved family the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss and grant the soul of the departed eternal rest.
Responding, Mr Enyinna Eric Nwadinobi, the first son of the deceased thanked the Speaker for finding time to come and sympathise with them, saying he has shown love and has given the family tremendous support over the years.
Mr Nwadinobi prayed and wished the Speaker well in all his endeavours
The deceased was aged 80 and was committed to mother earth yesterday.
Rt Hon Chinedum Enyinnaya Orji was accompanied on the condolence visit by Pastor Ugochukwu Uchegbu, the Peoples Democratic Party flag bearer for Umuahia Central State Constituency and a former Commissioner for Public Utilities, Chief Emma Nwabuko.
Mr Julius Agwu, a Nigerian stand-up comedian, actor and singer was also present during the condolence visit.
