Coalition Of South East Youth Leaders (COSEYL), have lambasted a stalwart of All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), Chikwe Udensi over attack on the Senator representing Abia Central, Theodore Ahamefula Orji.
ABACITYBLOG reported that the APGA chieftain had described T.A Orji and his successor, Governor Okezie Ikpeazu as liability to the state, adding that T.A is a disaster that befell Abia.
Reacting over Udensi’ statement, COSEYL in a press release signed by its President General, Chief Goodluck Egwu Ibem, the group demanded Udensi to as matter of urgency apologise to T.A Orji.

“We condemn in strong terms the media attack by one Chief Chikwe Udensi who parade himself as a chiefain of APGA against the senator representating Abia central senatorial zone , Distinguish Senator T.A.Orji ( Ochendo Global) that Ochendo did not perform during his tenure as governor of Abia state. It is absolutely delusional to make such unguided and irresponsible statement against Ochendo Global.
“This allegations is reckless, ill-tempered and lacking in substance. It is unfortunate that Udensi lacks the know-how of how governance ought to be, is the one trying to cast aspersions on Ochendo’s 8 years fruitful tenure.
“What parameter did he use to measure Ochendo’s performance? Well it is evidently clear that Udensi is sick and needs some medical treatment . His family should take him to the hospital for treatment. Maybe he is still suffering from illlness as a result of the election loss of 2015 and 2019. His family should immediately treat him before things get out of hand.
“It is on record that since Ochendo join active politics, that he has never lost any elections , both party primary and general elections . This is a sign of acceptability and performance of Ochendo Global. It only takes a performer to win elections. The people reciprocates ones performance by voting for him. He was elected by Abians as Senator representing Abia central senatorial zone to represent them at the Senate because of his good works as governor from 2007 to 2015.
“Performers and acceptable persons win elections while non-performers and unacceptable persons loss elections. Udensi was totally rejected by the people at the polls and he lacks what it takes to speak for the people.
“Senator T.A. Orji’s government remains the best government since the creation of Abia state. His government was marked by developmental achievements in Education, infrastructural development , Scholarship to indigent students, built health centres in all the autonomous communities in Abia state and massive empowerment of youths all over the state and beyond. Ochendo’s empowerment programme remains the best all over the country. He was applauded by all and sundry as the best Governor. National and International awards was conferred on him as clear testament of his good works.
“Udensi lack credibility to speak for any group or person in Abia state. The electorates rejected him when he contested for elections in Abia state. He could not win election in any polling unit in Abia state in 2015 general elections because he is a man without purpose or direction. He lacks electoral value.
“There is no project anywhere that can be attributed to Udensi, even in his country home. He cannot even win a counselorship election in his village in Arochukwu. He lacks electoral value to speak on issues affecting Abia state. He lives in Abuja and does not know anything that is happening in Abia state or anywhere in Igboland.
“His antecedents as a man of questionable character is not in doubt. Who is Udensi to speak against the revered Senator T.A. Orji (Papa Ukwu) who Abians loves, cherished and voted for him at every elections. Senator T.A. Orji have never lost any elections because he a performer par excellence. His laudable achievements still speaks for him even after many years of living office as governor.
“He remains the best Governor and Senator Abia have ever had. During tenure as governor his Youth empowerment programme made over 100,000 youths successful entrepreneurs and millionaires who are doing very well in business.
“We know Udensi’s problem. He is jealous of Senator T.A.Orji’s rising political profile and acceptability by the people. He is not happy because Ochendo Global is the best political leader Abians have ever have. Ochendo remains the first leader to adhere to the principle of Equity in Abia political history. He is a man of equity and fairness which is one Sterling qualities that endured him to the people.
“We call on Chief Chikwe Udensi to immediately within 24 hours apologies to Senator T. A. Orji (Ochendo Global) or We will declared him ” persona non grata ” in Igboland The time has stated counting.
