Nigerians on Twitter has reacted to the recent released photos of the entourage that went with President Muhammadu Buhari to Japan for the 7th Tokyo International Conference on African Development (TICAD7).
ABACITYBLOG reported that President Buhari departed to Japan on Sunday, with him, according to Bashir Ahmad P.A to the President, was Governors of Kwara, Borno and Lagos States. But recent pictures released says otherwise.
“President @MBuhari has departed Abuja for Japan to participate in the 7th Tokyo International Conference on African Development (TICAD7) holding in the City of Yokohama on August 28-30, 2019.
“Governors of Kwara, Borno and Lagos states accompanying President @MBuhari as he departed for Japan to participate in the 7th Tokyo International Conference on African Development (#TICAD7) holding in the City of Yokohama on August 28-30, 2019”, Bashir tweeted.
However, following the photos released few hours ago by the Presidency, President Buhari has landed in Japan and was ushered in by Japanese, but in his entourage, none of those who departed with him from Nigeria were found in the picture.
In his new entourage are; “Governor Samuel Ortom of Benue State, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Geoffrey Onyeama and Nigerian Ambassador to Japan Amb. Mohammed Gana Yisa”
They were pictured relaxing in a sofa in a hotel.
Confirming that the President has landed in Japan, Bashir wrote;

The above tweet with pictures by Mr. Bashir has caused a lot of confusion online as Nigerians has queried the Presidency on the way about of the first entourage that departed with President Buhari to Japan yesterday.
