National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS) are currently protesting against the killings and injustice meted on Nigerians by South Africans in their country.
The group who barricaded MTN Official Branch in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State, were caring placards with many inscriptions written; “We say no to Xenophobic Attack”; “End South Africans Business In Nigeria”; “Why kill our citizens and loot their properties”; “South Africans must leave Nigeria”, etc.
The protest came on the heels of several cases of xenophobic attacks on Nigerians in South Africa.
