The presidency has reportedly suspended the acting chairman of the Economic and Financial Crime Commission (EFCC) Ibrahim Magu.
Recall that magu was arrested on 6 July by the a combined team of Department of State Services personnel and policemen at the Wuse II office of the EFCC to face an intera-gency committee investigating corruption allegations against him.
Magu who was detained at the Force Criminal Investigation and Intelligence Department (FCID), in Area 10, Abuja, on Monday night on the orders of the committee that also questioned him on Tuesday morning.
However a source in the presidency told Sahara reporters that Ibrahim Magu has been suspended pending when decision has been taken on him.
