Reports reaching us has it that the Senator representing Abia North, Senator Orji Uzor Kalu has been freed from the Abuja Kuje prison.
This is following the yesterday’s verdict by the Court sitting in Lagos which ordered the prison to release Kalu pending his fresh trials by the EFCC.
The senate Chief Whip, according to reports confirmed the he is out of prison and on his way to his Abuja home after several months in the prison.
