The Joint Security Forces, JTF, have reportedly rescued Lieutenant P.P Johnson, an Abia born military officer who was abducted by unknown gunmen on 29th of December, 2022.
AbaCityBlog reports that Lieutenant Johnson was abducted by some unknown gunmen in Abia State in the early hours of Thursday, 29th December 2022.
The captors, in a viral video vowed to kidnap other Igbo serving in the Nigerian Army.

Acting on a tipoff, the JTF arrested the unknown gunmen who kidnapped the lieutenant, while raiding the forest bordering Enugu State and Ihube Okigwe LGA in Imo state.
The Joint security forces, according to reports carried out the rescue operation at about 1420 hours of today.
